Astronomers have long pondered the origins of enormous elliptical galaxies in the young Universe. An object 11 billion light-years away spotted by the Herschel mission may help unravel the mystery.
Two massive spiral galaxies merged to create a giant elliptical galaxy, which were previously believed to form through the absorption of dwarf galaxies over time.

I’m the Doctor. I’ve lived for over 2000 years. I’ve made many mistakes. It’s about time that I did something about that.

OK, so the best idea that was proposed for our tour date on July 8th was for us to play a ROCK SHOW at a ROCK FORMATION.
So we are excited to announce that we will be playing at Vedauwoo in the Medicine Bow National Forest in southeastern Wyoming (between Laramie and Cheyenne).
The show will be at 6pm on July 8th. It will be free. Here’s all you need to know:
Take exit 329 off I-80 for Vedauwoo Road. Turn left after you exit and follow Vadauwoo Road until it turns into a dirt road. The park entrance will be on the left. Parking is $5 per car. Enter the park and drive down the hill to the parking lot. We will be meeting at the gazebo and then hiking out to the show location. If you get there late, FOLLOW THE SPIDERS.
The show will be acoustic and we’re a bit short on instruments. If you have a spare acoustic guitar or a glockenspiel, please bring them to the show. That would be much appreciated.
Let’s make this a magical night!

This is really happening!!
